A Brooklyn in Brooklyn

Yesterday I had the fantastic pleasure of photographing Sean Crowley, neckwear designer, and Meredith Modzelewski at their home in Brooklyn.  We made lots of pictures for my personal book project, The Dandy Portraits.  Watch for the full post coming soon!  In the meantime, here is a tasty tidbit...Mr. Crowley expertly mixed up these exquisite little Brooklyn cocktails, which tasted as good as they look.

Homemade Amer Picon.

Best enjoyed iced cold - don't dilly-dally!

The Brooklyn Cocktail

2 oz Rye or Bourbon
3/4 oz Dry Vermouth
2 tsp Amer Picon (Torani Amer)
2 tsp Maraschino Liqueur

1) Stir in a mixing glass with ice
2) Strain into a cocktail glass
3) Garnish with a cocktail cherry
