Interview with Photographer Rose Callahan

I had the distinct honor of being asked a million questions about my work by Glenn Wiggins of False Image Podcast. He started his podcast because he was so curious about the real stories behind creative achievements. Most of the time it get's glossed over, but he likes to dig deeper. Glenn is very thorough! Even digging up a story about my first ever creative job painting a sign for my favorite vintage store (and still one of the best!) when I was thirteen years old. Rarebit Productions - "Sewing in a Straight Line" book trailers & new reel

Sewing in a Straight Line: Book Trailers by Rarebit!

The days have been flying by as Rarebit (my video production company) has been working night and day on - not one - but THREE book trailer/how-to videos for Brett Bara's first book "Sewing in a Straight Line".   The book is beautiful, and I even found myself saying "I could make that too!", which I think is exactly what Brett was going for.  I am so excited for her - and for Rarebit!

Brett just set up her new craft room, and I took a few shots in between filming...

Crafter extrordinair, Brett Bara has her first book, "Sewing in a Straight Line", coming out July 19!  She worked with Kelly and I (aka Rarebit Productions) on a series of how-to videos to promote the launch.

Brett started with the simple but brilliant idea that if you can sew straight you can make a lot of really awesome things - things that may look complex, but are really made all with straight lines!
